Got a chicken burrito here last night, veg burrito is $8 add meat for $4. Price wasn't bad for nyc average size for the price. The food is very fresh, the management was attentive and kind! You can def taste the freshness each ingredient. I wouldn't say this is authentic by any means but def hits the burrito craving and feels better than chipotle lol. I'll prob be back here due to convenience, over all a good spot, curious to try out other items on the menu.

For MealPal enchiladas last week: I once again literally started writing the review as I ate it. These dishes are a work of art everyday such that I come for 4 of 5 lunches via MealPal. Again, the best such dish I've ever had and I've had hundreds of Mexican dishes with chicken in all forms, but here, the flavors beg for lengthy descriptions. The chicken breast is so soft, pulled, and flavored with such a great combination with marinaded vegetables and pickles and Spanish cheese atop sprinkled with cilantro which altogether give us so much interesting flavor. The significant sauce already needed not the sausage accents to give it the umph. Totally lovely.

Hungry for a burrito that WASN'T from Chipotle, I came across this place on Yelp. Even though this place, at the time, had 3.5 stars, I couldn't find any other solid options in the area, so I decided to check it out. It's a smallish joint with a few 2-person tables and a larger nook to seat a bigger group. It has a cozy vibe with warm lighting, accompanied by friendly staff. I got the 10" barbacoa burrito and esquites on the side. There's a generous amount of meat in the 10" burrito--I could only finish 3/4 of it in one sitting! Everything was seasoned well, but I wish they had put more lettuce and pickled onions inside. The esquites are basically elote off the cob with their special spicy sauce. They may have been too generous though because the corn was swimming in a pool of spicy sauce. Nonetheless, everything was tasty and price was reasonable for dinner(~$15 total).

Been here twice now and it was great. I've tried both the tacos and enchiladas as well as the guacamole, all were pretty good. Unfortunately I wanted to get the corn appetizer but they were out of it last time. It is a very small place so if you get there at a busy time you might have trouble finding a seat. My complaint with this place is that everything is made on "to go" dishes and plates, so even if you are eating in, everything gets thrown out! It makes me upset to think of all the waste that could be saved just by washing reusable dishes. That being said, this place reminds me of a takeout joint in Mexico, which might be the point. I like that the kitchen is out in the open so you can see all the action going on. The host who takes your order is very friendly and organized. He is very quick but accurate wth the orders. He even remembered my tap water about 10 minutes later without me having to remind him!
